An officer who sustained injuries in a November 2015 accident in Scottsdale, Ariz. has filed a lawsuit against the other driver involved, citing personal injury and negligence.
Back in early November, Officer Wayne Crenshaw was pursuing a speeding driver near a busy intersection in Scottsdale, when he collided with an Audi sedan that had partially turned into his lane. Officer Crenshaw was thrown from his bike, and landed several yards away from the collision site.
Officer Crenshaw alleges that the collision caused him significant personal injury and lasting disability, including pain, discomfort, disfigurement, anxiety and loss of quality of life.
However, the driver of the other vehicle recently filed a counter claim against the City of Scottsdale, which alleges that Officer Crenshaw was traveling at a dangerously high speed – an estimated 87 miles-per-hour according to accident reports.
